GENGIGEL®
Biological mouth and gum care based on hyaluronic acid
Medicinal product for regeneration and relief in patients with infl amed and traumatized gingival and oral mucosal tissue.
GENGIGEL® is especially indicated in the treatment of infl ammatory conditions (gingivitis, gingival pockets, gingival recession), after injuries, e.g. pressure sores caused by orthodontic appliances or removable orthodontic devices, and professional oral hygiene and for stomatitis and abrasions. Postoperative wound management (e.g. after tooth extraction, implant placement, et al.) and conditions requiring highconcentration hyaluronic acid for mucosal care are other GENGIGEL® indications.
GENGIGEL® reduces bleeding, relieves pain and accelerates wound healing and mucosal regeneration - a crucial factor for preventing secondary postoperative infections. Sweetened with xylitol, GENGIGEL® is not cariogenic and tolerated by diabetics. A natural and physiologically vital component of the healthy oral mucosa, hyaluronic acid maintains the fi rmness and elasticity of the oral mucosa and supports mucosal healing. Together with other connective tissue components hyaluronic acid acts as a physiological barrier keeping away micro-organisms and toxins.
